New Balvatika at Kankaria to be inaugurated on Friday, features tallest glass tower

Ahmedabad’s iconic Balvatika at Kankaria has been redeveloped after 68 years and will be inaugurated on Friday evening by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
The ₹22-crore redevelopment includes attractions such as Gujarat’s tallest glass tower, a maze, moving dinosaur park, lifelike wax museum, illusion house, go-karting, mud rides, and more.
Entry has been set at ₹50 for all age groups, with separate fees for rides. The Snow Park, which includes the jacket, will have a fee of ₹450. Selfie zones, landscaped gardens, and glow stations will be accessible at no additional charge.
Developed under the PPP (public private partnership) model with Superstar Amusement Park, the new Balvatika is expected to double the Amdavad Municipal Corporation’s (AMC) annual revenue to over ₹20 lakh, with the contractor managing all maintenance and operational costs.
