A Navratri garba event at a party plot near Vakil Saheb Bridge in Bopal turned chaotic on Friday night when a group of miscreants tried to enter without tickets, leading to a violent clash with organisers and security personnel. The unruly crowd forced the garba to stop, and the Sarkhej police have registered a case of attempted murder.

Hiteshsinh Rajput, a resident of Sachana in Viramgam, stated in his complaint that his cousin Kuldeepsinh had organised the Navratri event at Basera Party Plot. While leaving the garba, Hiteshsinh noticed several individuals attempting to jump over the compound wall to enter the venue.

The intruders, identified as Suraj Bharwad, Dhiren Bharwad, Pratham Bharwad, Ajay Bharwad, Mehul Bharwad, and others, tried to force their way through the ticket counter. When stopped again, they called around 20 more people from Hebatpur, and the mob stormed the plot, causing widespread panic and vandalism.

During the assault, Hiteshsinh was attacked fatally, and two others were injured. Sarkhej police have arrested five people, including Suraj Bharwad, and are searching for the remaining accused.
