Mortal remains of Pahalgam attack victims from Bhavnagar arrive in Ahmedabad

The mortal remains of two of the three Gujaratis who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack, the father-son duo of Yitesh and Smit Parmar of Bhavnagar, arrived at the Gujsail Cargo Airport in Ahmedabad on Wednesday night.

Gujarat’s Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi and BJP Spokesperson Minister Rushikesh Patel, along with Jagdish Vishwakarma, were present at the airport and paid tribute to the deceased souls.

Father-son duo from Bhavnagar died in the Pahalgam terror attack while attending Morari Bapu’s Katha.

A major terrorist attack occurred on Tuesday in Pahalgam, located in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists opened fire targeting both tourists and locals, resulting in 26 fatalities, including three individuals from Gujarat. Among the deceased were the father and son from Bhavnagar, and a young man from Surat, Shailesh Kalathiya.

In the wake of the attack, a complete shutdown has been called in Kashmir today (April 23) to protest the Pahalgam massacre.

Following the attack, Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Srinagar, where he held a high-level security meeting.

Shah also paid his tribute to the deceased souls, and later met the families of the deceased in Srinagar.
