Monsoon timetable to alter schedules of key trains at Ahmedabad station from June 15

In view of the monsoon season and anticipated heavy rainfall along the Konkan Railway route in southern India, the Indian Railways will implement a special monsoon timetable from June 15 to October 20, 2026. As part of the annual safety measures, speed restrictions will be imposed on trains passing through vulnerable sections of the Konkan Railway network, leading to revisions in the schedules of 24 pairs of trains operated by Western Railway.

The changes will affect arrival and departure timings at several stations across Gujarat, including Ahmedabad, one of the state's busiest railway hubs. Railway authorities have advised passengers to check the revised train schedules before commencing their journey to avoid inconvenience.

Railway officials said several other long-distance trains operating between Gujarat and southern India will also witness revised schedules during the monsoon timetable period. Passengers have been urged to verify train timings through official railway channels before travelling.

New timetable for key trains at Ahmedabad railway station

Sri Ganganagar–Thiruvananthapuram Express (Train No. 16311/12): Will arrive at Ahmedabad at 7:25 am and depart at 7:35 am. On the return journey, it will arrive at 6:40 am and depart at 6:50 am.

Veraval–Thiruvananthapuram Express (Train No. 16333/34): Will arrive at Ahmedabad at 3:15 pm and depart at 3:25 pm. On the return journey, it will arrive at 6:40 am and depart at 6:50 am.

Gandhidham–Nagercoil Express and Okha–Ernakulam Express: Their Ahmedabad timings have also been revised to 3:15 pm–3:25 pm and 6:40 am–6:50 am, respectively.

Bhavnagar–Thiruvananthapuram Express (Train No. 19260/59): Will arrive at Ahmedabad at 3:15 pm and depart at 3:25 pm.

Jamnagar–Tirunelveli Express (Train No. 19578/77): Will arrive at Ahmedabad at 2:50 am and depart at 3:00 am.

Hapa–Madgaon Express (Train No. 22908/07)

Gandhidham–Tirunelveli Humsafar Express (Train No. 20924/23)

Porbandar–Thiruvananthapuram Express (Train No. 20910/09)

Hisar–Coimbatore AC Express (Train No. 22476/75)

These trains will also witness minor revisions in their schedules under the updated timetable.
