MLA Chaitar Vasava, Taluka Panchayat president clash at Dediapada Prant Office

A physical clash broke out between AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) MLA Chaitar Vasava and BJP’s (Bharatiya Janata Party) Dediyapada Taluka Panchayat President Sanjay Vasava during an ATVT (Apno Taluko Vibrant Taluko) meeting at the prant (sub-division) office in Dediapada on Saturday.

Police allegedly pushed MLA Vasava into a jeep to take him to Rajpipla, triggering protests. His supporters laid in front of the police van, raising slogans, leading to high drama and a heated confrontation with the police. Later that night, Vasava was arrested.

The clash reportedly began when Vasava raised objections over the inclusion of a committee member, leading to a verbal argument and alleged physical assault between him and Sanjay Vasava. Both parties have filed cross complaints accusing each other of threats and assault.

The incident has heightened political tensions in the region and drawn sharp reactions from the MLA’s supporters.
