Mixed season hits Ahmedabad: Daytime temperature soars beyond 36°C

Ahmedabad is currently experiencing a mixed weather pattern — warm during the day and chilly at night. Today, the city recorded a daytime temperature of 36°C, while the average minimum temperature last night was 22°C.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), this mixed weather is expected to continue for the next five days. The maximum temperature may rise up to 37°C, while the average minimum temperature will hover around 22°C. A slight increase in the chill is expected after October 26.
Amreli recorded the highest temperature at 38°C in the state on Monday. As per the forecast, light rainfall may occur in parts of South Gujarat over the next three days, while the rest of the state is likely to remain dry.
Light to Moderate rain is likely in Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli on Wednesday (October 22).
