Minor girl kidnapped, raped by 2 men in Gujarat’s Kutch, accused arrested

A 16-year-old girl in Adipur, Kutch, was allegedly kidnapped and raped by two men. The minor’s brother has registered a complaint against the two individuals.

Following the complaint, Adipur police swiftly apprehended the two accused and registered a case under the POCSO Act.

According to information received, the 16-year-old girl was traveling to a temple with an acquaintance on Thursday when two unknown men approached them. The men allegedly claimed they were taking them to the police station. Subsequently, one of the unknown men instructed the girl to sit beside him on his bike, while the acquaintance was told to ride on another bike.

They were then taken to an isolated location where the two men allegedly raped the girl. The acquaintance reportedly pleaded with them not to harm her but was threatened with death if he intervened.

After the horrific incident, the acquaintance informed the minor’s brother, who then lodged a complaint at the Kutch East police station.

Within hours, officers from the Kutch police station successfully apprehended the two accused in connection with the rape. The girl has been sent for a medical examination.
