Dump truck in Ahmedabad’s Amraiwadi rams into minor; locals set vehicle on fire

In a shocking incident in Ahmedabad's Amraiwadi area where a minor boy was run over by a dump truck late at night on July 8 while playing on the road. Following this accident, an enraged mob of locals torched the truck to flames. The driver however managed to flee from the scene.
Fire officials were not allowed to perform duties
After the minor suffered a tragic death in the accident, the locals, outraged at the driver, gathered and torched the truck to flames. They were so enraged that they even prevented the fire department from extinguishing the fire. The incident took place near Amraiwadi’s Chacha Nagar Chawl. The Amraiwadi police and traffic police officials reached the scene and assured the outraged locals to take cognizance of the accident and file a case against the accused driver.
