During the Board of Directors meeting of Mahesana Dudhsagar Dairy, Vice-Chairman Yogesh Patel raised several questions on Friday when the situation suddenly escalated when the current chairman, Ashok Chaudhary, lost his temper and slapped Patel, creating an uproar.

Following this, the matter reached the B Division Police Station, where an application was submitted to file a complaint against the chairman and another director.

On the other hand, the chairman dismissed the incident of slapping as baseless, claiming it was a conspiracy to malign the transparent administration of the dairy.

The board meeting of Mahesana’s  Dudhsagar Dairy was held today at 11 am. As the meeting proceeded according to the agenda, Vice-Chairman Yogesh Patel asked the in-charge MD several administrative questions.

At that point, Chairman Ashok Chaudhary intervened and suddenly approached the vice-chairman and slapped him across the face. Supporting the chairman, another director, Dilip Chaudhary, also slapped Yogesh Patel. During the incident, Yogesh Patel’s gold chain and spectacles were reportedly broken.

Subsequently, the matter reached the Mahesana B Division Police Station, where Vice-Chairman Yogesh Patel submitted an application to file a complaint against the current chairman and the director of dairy.

In the complaint, he mentioned that he was threatened to leave the meeting and was warned not to enter the dairy premises again. Additionally, the vice-chairman alleged that there was a serious threat of further attacks by the chairman’s supporters after the incident.

This incident has created a stir in Mahesana’s cooperative politics. It is noteworthy that after the dairy’s board elections, both Ashok Chaudhary and Kanu Chaudhary had staked their claims for the chairman’s position within the BJP’s consensus process.

The party, adopting a conciliatory approach, issued a mandate appointing Ashok Chaudhary as chairman and Yogesh Patel as vice-chairman, leading to their unopposed election to these posts. However, dissatisfaction continued to brew among the BJP-backed directors in the dairy even after this arrangement.

On this matter, Chairman Ashok Chaudhary stated that Vice-Chairman Yogesh Patel had raised some questions during the board meeting, which were satisfactorily answered.

However, Yogesh Patel alleged became aggressive and left the meeting on his own. The chairman described the allegations of slapping the vice-chairman as baseless, calling it a conspiracy to malign the transparent and disciplined administration of the dairy.
