Another speeding car in Ahmedabad puts lives at danger

Another incident of overspeeding in a high-end car in Ahmedabad brought back ugly memories of the Iskcon bridge accident a few months ago when a Mercedes SUV rammed into a car carrying a family of four.
According to reports, Bhavesh Choksi along with his wife and two children was returning home from Pakvan cross roads on the night of Nov 12 at around 3 in the morning. As he was crossing Jajarmaan crossroads, coming from Sindhu Bhavan, a Mercedes G Wagon rammed into his car, sending it cartwheeling.
A little ahead, the Mercedes lost one of its tires and halted on the road. The onlookers of the accident were able to nab the SUV driver. The youth driving the SUV was identified as Rishit Patel, who resides in the Science City Road area.
No serious injuries have been reported yet.
Who is Rishit Patel?
Rishit Patel is the son of Mayur Patel, a chemical businessman residing in Solitaire bungalows. Apart from the Mercedes involved in the accident, Patel also has a collection of luxury cars including Volvo, Porsche, and Ferrari.
Rishit and overspeeding
The primary investigation by the police revealed that Rishit was involved in illegal racing with an Audi car, which put the lives of others in danger.
Not only that, on his social media, Ritish's social media is filled with multiple videos of him overspeeding, indicating his habit of rash driving.
Police have registered a case against Rishit Patel and will also apply to RTO to cancel his driving licence.
