Another major fire broke out on Friday afternoon behind the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple in Vinzol Ramwadi, Siddhpura Estate, causing widespread panic in the area. Thick plumes of smoke billowed into the sky as the blaze continued to rage for over two hours, with authorities still struggling to bring it under control.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire began behind the temple premises, and within moments, flames spread rapidly, reportedly fuelled by highly flammable materials in the vicinity. The area was soon engulfed in dense smoke, severely affecting visibility and raising concerns about air quality.

As of the latest update, more than 20 fire tenders have been deployed to the site. Firefighters are engaged in an intense operation to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading further into residential or commercial structures nearby.

Officials have not yet confirmed the cause of the fire, and no injuries have been reported so far. However, residents have expressed alarm over the scale of the fire and the delay in controlling it.

Emergency services, including fire personnel and local police, remain on high alert as firefighting operations continue late into the evening. Authorities have urged the public to stay away from the affected zone and to keep doors and windows closed to minimise inhalation of smoke. An investigation is expected to follow once the fire is fully brought under control.
