Massive fire at Bardoli factory: 2 workers dead, at least 15 injured

A day after Surat's Palsana saw a major fire incident at a textile mill, two workers died, and at least 15 others were injured after a fire broke out at a dyeing factory in Bardoli on Tuesday morning. 

Several fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the fire after hours of effort. Cooling operations are currently underway, as per the report.

Local police and administrative authorities also reached the scene. Search and rescue operations are underway. The injured have been shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment, with some reported to be in critical condition.

According to reports, work was underway at the factory when flames suddenly broke out at the dyeing mill near Kadodara. The fire spread rapidly and engulfed the entire factory within minutes due to the presence of flammable substances inside the factory.

The cause of the fire is not yet known. Police have launched an investigation into the matter. The factory has suffered extensive damage.
