Man stabbed to death in front of wife in Vadodara’s Kalali

A 28-year-old man named Girish Bhaliya was brutally stabbed to death in front of his wife near Khiskoli Circle in the Kalali area on the outskirts of Vadodara city on Tuesday. The victim was attacked by a group of men allegedly led by one Darshan Marwadi.

According to information received by the police, Girish Bhaliya, a resident of the Vadsar area of Vadodara, had gone to a temple with his wife when the accused and his associates confronted him. During the confrontation, Girish was attacked with a knife and suffered multiple serious injuries.

People present at the scene rushed to help. He was immediately taken to Vadodara’s SSG Hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the murder may have been the result of a long-standing enmity. Local sources and initial reports suggest that the dispute was connected to an earlier incident involving the alleged harassment of a woman. Police are investigating this angle as part of the case.

The victim's family has alleged that Darshan and Karan Marwadi were involved in the murder. Based on the complaint and initial findings, police have registered a murder case and begun further legal action.
