Man killed by accused after love goes sour with victim’s sister in Ahmedabad’s Vatva GIDC

A murder was reported late Saturday night in Ahmedabad’s Vatva GIDC area. Near the Trikampura canal bridge, a local resident named Manish Suthar was attacked with a sharp weapon and killed.

According to initial information, accused Ashwin Zala was in a relationship with Manish’s sister and had been pressuring her to continue the affair.

This reportedly led to a dispute between Ashwin and Manish. During the confrontation, Ashwin stabbed Manish on the face, neck and chest before fleeing the spot.

Police rushed to the scene, sent the body for postmortem and have questioned the woman involved in the relationship. Multiple teams have been formed to trace the absconding accused.
