Man kidnaps, kills sister’s love interest over her cancelled marriage

A man kidnapped and killed his sister’s love interest since her marriage was cancelled due to the deceased’s affair with the accused’s sister in Ahmedabad’s New Ranip.
The details of the case were revealed as the Sabarmati Police were interrogating the three accused- Jayesh, Paresh, and Atul.
A missing report of Poonamsingh Jhala was filed by his wife, Anjanaba when her husband went out in a car and then nowhere to be found. The police, acting on the CCTV footage from the area, nabbed the three accused.
PI HN Patel, investigating the case, revealed that the marriage of Jayesh’s sister was cancelled when her fiance had come to find out about her relationship with Jhala.
Holding enmity about the incident, Jayesh, with his friends Paresh and Atul, abducted Jhala. The accused revealed that they had beaten Jhala to death and then threw his body into the Narmada canal near Adalaj.
