Man climbs on trasin at Surat Railway Station trains delayed by 45 mins

In an unusual incident, a drama unfolded at Surat Railway Station when a man climbed on the locomotive of a train.

Bandra Express was waiting for departure on platform number 4 at Surat Railway Station at 9.15 am on Tuesday.

Before the train could depart, a man climbed up the locomotive of Bandra Express which led the authorities to turn off the electric supply.

The man sat on the engine, ignoring the crowd desperately trying to persuade him to get down.

Soon, Railway Police Force (PRF) was intimated about the drama and personnel rushed to platform number 4.

When RPF personnel were convincing him to get down, he threatened to touch the electric cables.

After a dramatic episode of 45 minutes, RPF was able to get him down.

This led to a delay of 45 minutes for the trains that were scheduled to depart and arrive at the platform.

However, preliminary reports suggested that the man was mentally unstable. A legal action is being taken against him.
