Video: Major fire at MMV Vadapav Centre on Drive-In Road, no casualties reported

A major fire broke out on Thursday late at night at the popular MMV Vadapav Centre on Drive-In Road in Ahmedabad, triggering panic in the bustling area. The blaze, which erupted at night, led to multiple LPG cylinders bursting due to intense heat.
According to Om Jadeja, divisional fire officer, the fire was caused by overheating, which led to the explosion of LPG cylinders stored at the food outlet. The Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Service was informed about the incident, and three fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot to contain the blaze.
Despite the intensity of the fire and the risk posed by the cylinder blasts, fire officials confirmed that no casualties were reported in the incident. Quick response by the fire brigade helped bring the situation under control and prevent further damage to nearby establishments.
The exact cause of the fire is under investigation, although preliminary reports suggest a possible gas leak or improper handling of cooking equipment. Officials are also reviewing the safety measures in place at the eatery.
