Two men from Borisana village in Kalol were killed by three people and looted of ₹6 lakh in a movie-like turn of events. The victim were fed sleeping pills and later thrown in Sherisa Narmada canal.

A land-broker from Borisana, 23-year-old Dasharath alias Tinaji Thakor came in contact with a woman named Poonam on Instagram seven to eight months ago and became online friends.

Poonam’s husband, 28-year-old Bharat Thakor, grew suspicious about her activities and found out about her involvement with Dashrath.

However, instead of confronting the lovers, Bharat saw money in their relationship. He developed a friendship with Dashrath and asked money from him, which was transferred by his wife’s lover online.

As per reports, Bharat even received a car and Dashrath helped him established a business, too.

However, things went downhill when Dashrath absurdly offered ₹20 lakh in exchange for Bharat to leave his wife.

After deciding to eliminate Dashrath, Bharat lured Dashrath to get land in Bhabhar for ₹6 lakh as a token of friendship.

Dashrath, along with a friend named Girish Thakor, went to seal the deal with the money. Bharat, with help of his friends, Meghraj and Prakash, sedated the two, took the money, and discarded their unconscious bodies into the canal.

When Dashrath and his friend were unreachable till late, the police were informed, who found their bodies near Sherisa.

As Kalol police tried to solve the reason behind their deaths, Rapar police nabbed Bharat and his two allies at the Rapar bus station as they were acting suspicious.

When the accused could not justify the possession of ₹5.93 lakh with them, they were interrogated by the police and confessed to killing Dashrath and his friend Girish.
