LS polls: Vote discrepancy of 15,000 in Gujarat, 5 cr in India; reveals ADR

A recent report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) has revealed a significant discrepancy between the votes recorded in EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines) and the final tally in the recent Lok Sabha elections.
A discrepancy of 5 crore votes was found across India, including 15,000 votes in Gujarat, sparking new controversy surrounding the Election Commission of India (ECI).
These discrepancies were observed between the figures announced by the ECI and the actual count on election day.
In Gujarat, 23 out of 26 Lok Sabha seats showed a difference of 15,521 votes. This discrepancy varied from seat to seat, with some showing an excess and others a deficit in votes.
Gujarat’s 24 out of 26 seats exhibited a difference ranging from 8 votes to over 3,100 votes.
Specifically, seats like Bhavnagar showed a difference of 2,096 votes, Kheda 2,222, Patan 1,577, Bardoli 3,194, and Anand 1,337.
