Labourer from UP dies after being hit by BRTS bus in Danilimda

A youth who had come to Ahmedabad from Uttar Pradesh in search of employment died after being hit by a BRTS bus while crossing the road in Danilimda. 

The deceased, identified as Phulendra Prasad Chamar (29), resident of Myco Business Park, Danilimda, used to work as centring labourer.

On Saturday night, he was walking back home after buying vegetables from Khodiyarnagar. While crossing the BRTS road in Khodiyarnagar, he was struck by a speeding BRTS bus.

The accident caused fatal injuries, killing him instantly. Following the incident, the Traffic K Division Police registered a case against the driver and initiated action to arrest him based on CCTV footage.
