JEE Mains session 2 results out, two from Gujarat score 100 percentile

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results of JEE Mains (Joint Entrance Examination) session 2 (Paper 1 B.E./B.Tech.) before midnight on Apr 24.

A record 56 students scored 100 percentile, including two students from Gujarat.

In the January session of JEE (Main), 23 candidates secured a flawless 100 NTA score, which rose to 33 in the April session.

Gujarat’s Meet Parekh and Harshal Kanani secured their position among the top 50 candidates in India.

The list of 56 toppers includes two female candidates, including Karnataka’s Saanvi Jain and Delhi’s Shayna Sinha.

Category-wise scorers

This year, among the top 56 scorers, 40 belong to the general category, 10 are from the OBC category, and six are from the Gen-EWS category. Interestingly, there were no candidates from the SC and ST categories who achieved a perfect 100 NTA score.

The JEE (Main) 2024 Session 2 was conducted in April 2024 at 571 unique examination centres in 319, according to the NTA press release.

How to check JEE Mains results

Students appearing for the examination can check their results by logging on to the official website, https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/, with their application number and date of birth.

After submitting the details, your JEE Main 2024 scorecard will appear on the screen.

Download the scorecard and ensure to save a copy for future reference.
