Jamnagar man sends threats to railway stations over disputes on groundnut pricing at Hapa APMC, nabbed

Rajkot Police detained a Jamnagar resident after receiving a threat message claiming that bombs had been planted at several railway stations and on multiple trains.
The message sent to the Rajkot Police Control Room from an unknown mobile number on Monday afternoon mentioned planned explosions at Jamnagar, Rajkot, Dhrol, Surendranagar and Viramgam railway stations.
Rajkot Police immediately alerted district police units, including Jamnagar, Surendranagar and Ahmedabad. The caller’s mobile location indicated that he was travelling towards Ahmedabad.
Further tracking placed the device at Kalupur Railway Station, where local police detained a suspect identified as Ravirajsinh Jadeja, a resident of Jamnagar.
During questioning, the youth stated that he had visited Hapa APMC earlier in the day to sell groundnuts with his father but a disagreement arose over pricing.
Frustrated, he sent the message in an attempt to trigger administrative action. Police officials are carrying out further verification and legal proceedings as per protocol.
