Jamnagar Airport goes international for Anant-Radhika pre-wedding gala

Today, Jamnagar Airport will witness a total of 140 flight

As the world gathers at Jamnagar for Radhika-Anant’s pre-wedding bash, Jamnagar Airport witnesses celebrities, business honchos, journalists, and artists from around the globe on Feb 25.

Amid the ourpour of celebrities across the world at Gujarat’s western district, Jamnagar Airport has been given international status for 10 days.

International flights to go back and forth till Mar 5

Jamnagar Airport, also known as Civil Enclave Jamnagar, is temporarily hosting international flights. Therefore, the union ministries of health, finance, and home affairs have also been directed to set up customs, immigration, and quarantine systems at the airport. 

Today, Jamnagar Airport will witness a total of 140 flights.

Airport elevates facilities

Keeping in view the influx of guests, the Airport Authority of India (AAI) has increased the passenger building from 475 sq m to 900 sq m.

It will now accommodate 360 passengers instead of 180 during peak hours. The expansion was planned previously but was implemented recently due to the pre-wedding ceremony.

For better management and security, housekeeping staff and security personnel have also been doubled. The ground handling agencies have also been directed to increase staff.

From politicians to pop stars, everyone is under the same roof for the three-day pre-wedding ceremony of Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani.

Leaders and personalities, including Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Rihanna, Ivanka Trump, Bollywood celebrities, and former prime ministers, are joining the pre-wedding bash with the Ambanis.
