Even though the summer season has just begun, the effects of the heat wave can be felt in Vadodara. On Monday, the mercury crossed 40°C. The increase in heat will have a direct impact on everyone's  lives, including animals and birds. In order to protect the animals and birds of Kamati Bagh from the heat, water spraying has been started by tying nets around the cages.

On March 8, the maximum temperature in the city was 39.4°C, but yesterday it increased by 1°C. Due to which the temperature crossed 40 degrees Celsius yesterday and the maximum temperature was recorded at 40.4°C.

On the other hand, the weather department has predicted that the temperature will be 41°C today.

As a result, to protect the birds and animals of Sayaji Bagh (Kamati Bagh) from the scorching heat, a net was built around the aviary and animal cages and water was sprayed from all sides to provide relief to the birds and animals from the heat and cool them down.
