Two separate incidents involving alleged food quality issues have been reported in Ahmedabad, prompting complaints to civic authorities and police.

In one case, a Class-I officer associated with the Gujarat High Court lodged a complaint after receiving moldy bread ordered through the Zepto platform. The delivery was sourced from a store in the Motera area, and the complainant alleged that the bread had an unpleasant odour and was unfit for consumption.

As per officials, when the issue was raised with the delivery personnel and store staff, an unsatisfactory response led the complainant to approach the police, citing concerns over public health.

In another incident, a customer alleged that hair was found in a pizza served at a restaurant in the Shahibaug area. The complainant, a doctor, reportedly raised objections at the outlet, after which the staff offered to replace the item.

Unsatisfied with the response, the customer submitted a written complaint to the Amdavad Municipal Corporation, seeking action against the restaurant.
