Gujarat’s Shivrajpur Beach closed for swimming till July 30

Authorities have issued an important advisory ahead of the monsoon season for Shivrajpur Beach in Gujarat's Devbhumi Dwarka district. Swimming and sea bathing have been completely prohibited at the Blue Flag-certified beach due to safety concerns arising from rough sea conditions and strong currents.
The decision has been taken by the district administration to ensure the safety of tourists during the monsoon months, when the Arabian Sea often experiences high waves and powerful undercurrents that can pose serious risks to visitors.
According to an order issued by the additional district magistrate of Devbhumi Dwarka, the restriction will remain in force along a nearly five-kilometre stretch of coastline, from the Shivrajpur Beach Lighthouse to the end of the Khadi-2 point area.
Officials said the ban will remain in effect until July 30. During this period, tourists will not be allowed to enter the sea for swimming or bathing activities.
The administration has warned that strict action will be taken against anyone found violating the order. Visitors have been urged to follow safety guidelines and cooperate with authorities to avoid accidents during the monsoon season.
