Gujarat’s seven IAS officers designated as election observers across India

In a move to strengthen the election force as the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 inch closer, seven IAS officers from Gujarat have been designated as election observers by the Election Commission of India (ECI) in different states across the country. Consequently, their roles within Gujarat were unoccupied.
For which, the General Administration Department of the state has given additional charge of these positions to other officers serving in the state secretariat.
These charges will be in place until the general elections are concluded.
Remarkably, over 35 IAS and IPS officers from Gujarat are slated to serve as election observers throughout the country.
