Gujarat’s Republic Day tableau awarded popular choice 3rd year in a row

In the 76th Republic Day National Parade at Kartavya Path, New Delhi, Gujarat’s tableau titled “From Anartpur to Ekta Nagar - A Remarkable Confluence of Heritage and Development” received the highest number of votes in the Popular Choice category.
Gujarat’s tableau secured the top position in this category for the third consecutive year, achieving a hat-trick. Citizens were allowed to vote online for the best tableau.
Unique Presentation of the Tableau
This year, Gujarat’s tableau showcased not only the state’s rich cultural heritage but also its remarkable development projects. It highlighted the journey from the 12th-century “Kirti Toran” of Vadnagar (Anartpur) to the 21st-century marvel “Statue of Unity.”
Key development projects showcased in the tableau included:
C-295 Aircraft Manufacturing Unit
Semiconductor chip production and related equipment
Infrastructure projects like the Atal Bridge
Past Achievements
In the 2024 Republic Day Parade, Gujarat’s tableau titled “Dholavira, World’s Best Tourism Village-UNWTO” also secured the first position in the Popular Choice category. Additionally, it achieved the second rank in the Jury’s Choice category.
The Gujarat tableau on the theme of “Clean-Green Energy Efficient Gujarat” on the 74th Republic Day in New Delhi was awarded the People’s Choice Award.
