The Gujarat police chief announced the special president’s police medals to 17 police personnel including chiefs and officers on the auspicious occasion of the 75th Republic Day.

The special police medals are awarded to the police personnel for their distinguished and commendable service to their department.

Recipients of President’s police medal

The President’s medal to police personnel for their commendable services will be awarded to SK Shah of Nadiad’s State Reserve Police (SRP) Group-VII, alongside assistant sub-inspector (ASI) PS Moghe of Bharuch police.

For special services, the other awardees are:

- Ahmedabad range inspector general (IG) Premveer Singh

- Police Bhavan IG Raghvendra Vats

- Ahmedabad traffic division additional director general of police (ADGP) NN Chaudhary

- Junagadh police training center principal BV Gohil

- Vadodara SRP Group-I chief KS Chaudhari, BK Jat

- Police sub inspector (PSI) AK Pathan, DB Thakor, Gandhinagar PSI KI Chavda, Vadodara PSI SR Patel

- Surat police ASI SR Dubey, JM Desai, JN Patel

- Abhaysingh Rathore, Godhra police

- Ahmedabad police head constable SL Dodiya
