In many districts of Gujarat, the long-awaited monsoon arrived on June 25. Compared to last year, Gujarat has received up to 3 inches of rain in 82 talukas after a delay of 12 days. According to the forecast of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy rains are predicted in South Gujarat, Saurashtra, and central Gujarat during the next five days.

June 26: Vadodara, Chhotaudepur, Valsad, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Gir Somnath
June 27: Surat, Bharuch, Gir Somnath
June 28: Vadodara, Chhotaudepur, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Bhavnagar
June 29: Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Amreli, Bhavnagar
June 30: Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli, Porbandar, Junagadh, Gir Somnath.
Light to moderate rain is predicted for the next five days in Ahmedabad
The Met Department has predicted rain in Ahmedabad for the next five days. The city may receive mild showers today and on June 27, while on June 28 and 29, it may rain heavily with thunder.
