Gujarat Police has launched a special helpline service for the citizens — 1800 233 1122 — to solve problems related to road accidents and traffic jams in the state.

Citizens will be able to report road accident, traffic jam, or any other traffic related problem with a single phone call to this new helpline. The information will be immediately conveyed to the police of the concerned area.

Apart from this traffic related helpline, Gujarat Police has also made three other facilities available to the citizens.

'Helpline-18002331122': As soon as a call is received on this dedicated helpline, the concerned district police officer will be instructed to take immediate action to solve the problem.

Application: Through the application 'Citizen First', any complaint related to traffic jam or road accident can be made using a smart phone.

Website: If any citizen faces any problem related to road accident or traffic jam, they can upload the photo on the website 'https://gujhome.gujarat.gov.in/portal'.

Email: Any citizen can also give information about traffic related problem on email id ‘trafficgrievance@gujarat.gov.in’.

Monitoring will be done by senior police officers to address traffic related complaints received from citizens through all these channels.
