The Gujarat government has decided to expand the scope of bus service for devotees of the state for a holy dip at Prayagraj Mahakumbh.

Five new buses have been introduced, including 1 from Ahmedabad, 2 from Surat, 1 from Vadodara and 1 bus from Rajkot.

Accommodation for the first and third nights for those arriving in the new buses from Surat and Rajkot will be made at Baran at the MP border.

For those arriving in the new buses from Ahmedabad and Vadodara, accommodation for the first and third nights will be made at Shivpuri in MP.

Passengers of all the 5 new buses will have to make their own arrangements for staying at Prayagraj.

The package per person from Ahmedabad is ₹7,800, from Surat ₹8,300, from Vadodara ₹8,200 and from Rajkot ₹8,800.

Online booking of the new buses can be availed from today, February 2, 5 pm onwards from the website of ST corporation gsrtc.in
