The Gujarat High Court has once again received a bomb threat email, according to reports. Police personnel from Sola High Court Police Station along with the bomb squad have reportedly reached the premises and begun a thorough search of the entire complex.

According to officials, the email — sent to an official High Court address — claimed that explosives had already been planted inside the complex. The message warned that the court would be “blown up”, triggering alarm among the administrative staff, who alerted the police without delay.

Security personnel conducted preliminary checks and began tracing the origin of the email. Officials said that bomb detection and disposal squads (BDDS) were also summoned as a precautionary measure.

Senior officers stated that the threat is being treated with utmost seriousness, given the sensitivity and public importance of the High Court premises. Investigators are verifying whether the email originated from within the state or from an external source.

Police teams are also examining CCTV footage, server logs, and digital trails to identify the sender. As of late evening, no suspicious object had been found, but officials emphasised that the search and verification process is still under way.

This is the latest in a series of hoax threats received by key establishments in Ahmedabad in recent months, though police have not yet confirmed whether the latest message is linked to previous incidents.

This incident comes after multiple similar threats in the past. Previously, the High Court had received a hoax bomb threat email. This latest email marks the fifth time the Gujarat High Court has been targeted with such threats.

Earlier threats were reported on September 15, and before that on June 24, June 9, and August 20.
