Gujarat govt transfers 3 IAS officers including GSRTC Ahmedabad chairman

The Gujarat government on Thursday announced a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring and reassigning three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers across key departments.
The General Administration Department (GAD) issued a notification to this effect from Gandhinagar.
According to the order, IAS Shalini Agrawal, currently serving as Municipal Commissioner of the Surat Municipal Corporation, has been transferred and her services placed at the disposal of the Energy and Petrochemicals Department.
She will be appointed Managing Director of Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL), Vadodara, relieving IAS Jenu Devan, of the additional charge of the post.
IAS Nagarajan M, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC), Ahmedabad, has been transferred and posted as Municipal Commissioner of the Surat Municipal Corporation.
His services have been placed at the disposal of the Urban Development and Urban Housing Department, replacing Shalini Agrawal.
Meanwhile, IAS Dr Rajender Kumar, Commissioner of Transport, Gandhinagar, has been given additional charge of the post of Vice Chairman and Managing Director of GSRTC, Ahmedabad, following the transfer of Nagarajan M.
