Gujarat govt promotes IAS officers across the state

The new year brought a wave of promotions among bureaucrats in the government of Gujarat.
In a series of notifications issued by general administration department of gujarat on Jan 1, 2024, the state government issued promotion orders for IAS Hareet Shukla and IAS Ajay Bhadoo.
Shukla, secretary, tourism, devasthanam management, civil aviation, and pilgrimage, has been promoted to the rank of principal secretary to the government to continue to function in the industries and mines department.
Another official who got promoted was Ajay Bhadoo, deputy election commissioner, who has been promoted to the rank of principal secretary to the government at the disposal of the government of India.
Both bureaucrats were promoted to level 15 in the pay matrix of ₹1,82,200 - ₹2,24,100.
Among other promotions, 10 officials of the 2011 batch have been granted selection grades at level 13 in the pay matrix of ₹1,23,100 - ₹2,15,900. The promotions also include collectors from five districts. They include:

Moreover, seven officers of 2015 batch have been granted junior administrative grade with level 12 in pay matrix ₹78,800 - ₹2,09,200. They include Neha Kumari, Lalit Narayan Singh Sandu, Anil Dhameliya, Dr Rajendrakumar Patel, Mihir Patel, Arpit Sagar and Gargi Jain.
As per another notification six IAS officers of 2020 batch have been promoted senior time scale of IAS with level 11 in pay matrix ₹67,700 - ₹2,08,700 and continue to function on the present post until further orders. They include assistant collectors of Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Rajkot, Vadodara, Sabarkantha, and Bharuch.
