Gujarat Governor, CM unfurl national flag at state-level Republic Day event in Vav-Tharad

The state-level Republic day function was held at Vav–Tharad in Banaskantha district, where the national flag was unfurled in the presence of Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Meanwhile, at the district-level celebrations in Ahmedabad.
At the state-level ceremony organised at Vav–Tharad, Governor Acharya Devvrat unfurled the national flag in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. During the flag-hoisting ceremony, flower petals were showered from a helicopter, which became a major attraction. Around 1,600 personnel of the Gujarat Police, divided into 22 platoons, presented a disciplined parade and saluted the national flag.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel extended Republic Day greetings to citizens. In his message, he conveyed his best wishes to all on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day, paid tribute to freedom fighters who sacrificed everything for the nation’s independence, and to the architects of the Indian Constitution. He said that the country is moving rapidly towards the goal of a developed India by 2047 and called upon citizens to remain united, uphold constitutional values, and work with the spirit of ‘Nation First’ to place India at the forefront globally.
