Gujarat government transfers 111 Panchayat staff across districts

The Panchayat, Rural Housing and Rural Development Department of the Gujarat government has is/sued an important order in the interest of Panchayat service employees. According to the official notification released from the Secretariat, a total of 111 Panchayat service employees posted across various districts of the state have been transferred through inter-district postings..

As per the order issued by the Panchayat Department on Friday, transfers of employees from different cadres have been carried out based on administrative convenience and applicable rules. The transferred staff mainly include Talati-cum-Ministers, junior clerks, staff nurses and gram sevaks.

Under the government’s strict instructions, all 111 transferred employees have been directed to immediately report to their newly assigned districts. District Development Officers concerned have been tasked with relieving the employees from their current postings at the earliest.
