Gujarat Government promotes 17 DySPs to SP rank, key transfer announced

Gujarat Home Department has promoted 17 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP). The promotions, executed under the SPS cadre, upgrade the officers to in situ positions, enhancing their roles and pay grade while keeping them in their current postings or departments.

The promotions also come with a pay upgrade from Level 10 (₹56,100–₹1,77,500) to Level 11 (₹67,700–₹2,08,700) in the pay matrix.
