Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, Union HM Amit Shah celebrate Uttarayan in Ahmedabad

Uttarayan is being celebrated with great fanfare across the state today. On this occasion, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel enjoyed the festival in Ahmedabad and interacted with people as they flew the kites.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah celebrated Uttarayan with his family in his hometown Ahmedabad like every year. Amit Shah started the day with the darshan of Lord Jagannath. He performed worship in the temple and sought blessings by feeding fodder to the cow.
When he reached the Naranpura area to fly kites on a rooftop, people from the surrounding rooftops welcomed him by shouting ‘O... Amit Kaka...’.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel celebrated Uttarayan in a pol of Dariapur area, which is a historical identity of Ahmedabad. He raised the spirits of the people by flying kites from the rooftop with the local residents in Wadigam of Dariapur.
The residents of the pol enthusiastically welcomed the Chief Minister. The CM wished all the citizens on the occasion of Makar Sankranti and prayed for the happiness and peace of the state. On this occasion, MP Dinesh Makwana, MLA Kaushik Jain and other political leaders also joined him.
