As the Lok Sabha elections inch closer, the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ led by Rahul Gandhi is set to enter Gujarat’s political landscape today. Gandhi’s arrival in the state will be amidst a spree of resignations made by Congress leaders and MLAs.
Gandhi’s ‘Nyay Yatra’ is scheduled to make its entry into Gujarat from Rajasthan this afternoon. The Yatra will cover seven districts across the state, spanning a distance of 400 km within four days.
The Yatra will commence from Jhalod’s Dahod district, where Gandhi will address the public.
Subsequently, the Yatra will advance to the district’s Limbdi village, where the Congress leader is slated to interact with locals along the way. He will make stops at several spots including Kamboi Dham, Pavagadh temple, Harsiddhi Mata temple, and the Swaraj Ashram in Bardoli.
Notably, Gandhi is scheduled to hold six public meetings, alongside 27 other meetings during his Yatra.

While BJP’s Narendra Modi and Amit Shah have already been engaged in the state’s politics, Gandhi is also set to join the fray, intensifying the general elections campaign for his party in the state.
Gandhi’s presence in the state aims to reach out to dissatisfied tribal belt Congress leaders who have resigned from the party, and seeks to realign their support towards Congress.
With the Yatra nearing its concluding stage, and the party facing successive resignations of leaders who defected to the BJP, the Nyay Yatra poses a decisive opportunity for the state Congress faction to instil spirits ahead of the impending general elections.
