Gujarat builder allegedly kills son-in-law suspecting foul play in daughter’s death

A builder from Kalol, has been arrested following the death of his son-in-law and assault on his brother. The incident occurred at the builder’s farmhouse, where the two brothers were allegedly beaten nearly to death.
According to the police report, builder Rupaji Prajapati, suspected foul play in the death of his daughter, Urmila, who had been living in Australia with her husband Bhavesh. Urmila’s death under mysterious circumstances prompted Rupaji to call Bhavesh and his brother Satish to his farmhouse under the pretense of discussing property matters.
Upon their arrival, Rupaji, along with his associates, brutally assaulted the brothers. Bhavesh succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital, while Satish, who sustained serious injuries, was transferred to a hospital in Ahmedabad for further treatment.
The complaint also states that Rupaji believed that Bhavesh had killed Urmila. The accused also video called his wife, Urmila’s mother, and told how the revenge for his daughter’s ‘murder’.
Mohan Prajapati, Bhavesh’s father, has lodged a formal complaint against Rupaji and his accomplices. The police have registered a case against Rupaji and his associates, including Jimmy, Sumo, Manish, Pintoo, Janak, and Jiga.
They face charges of murder and conspiracy. The investigation is ongoing, and the authorities are working to gather more evidence and testimonies related to the case.
