Gujarat Budget 2025: State government provides major relief in stamp duty
In a decision benefiting property owners and loan seekers, the state government has announced a reduction in stamp duty charges. The revised rates will provide financial relief to citizens, especially those inheriting ancestral property.
According to the new policy, stamp duty on the inheritance of ancestral property by daughters will now be a flat ₹200 instead of the previous 4.90% charge. This move is expected to ease the financial burden on many families.
