Gujarat Budget 2025-26 to be announced on February 20

The budget session for the Gujarat Vidhan Sabha is set to commence on February 19 and will conclude on March 28, according to a circular by Governor Acharya Devvrat. The budget will be presented on February 20.
In the session, Finance Minister of Gujarat, Kanu Desai will present the state budget, outlining the government’s financial plans and developmental initiatives for the upcoming year.
The session will begin with the presentation of the state budget, which is expected to announce major allocations for various sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, and social welfare. In the 2024-25 budget, the finance minister presented a budget of ₹3,32,465 crores in the Assembly.
The Parliament’s Budget Session is set to commence on January 31 and will continue until April 4. On February 1, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget.
