Gujarat BJP rolls out candidate list for AMC elections

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Gujarat unit has released the first list of candidates for the upcoming Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) elections following a meeting of the state election committee chaired by state president Jagdish Vishwakarma.

According to the official communication issued from the party headquarters in Gandhinagar, the list includes names of candidates finalised for various wards under the AMC. The announcement comes after internal deliberations and screening of potential candidates.

The party has rolled out names ward-wise, with candidates selected based on organisational feedback, local presence, and electoral viability.

The BJP, which currently holds power in the AMC, is aiming to retain control with a fresh mix of candidates as it gears up for the civic body polls.
