As the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 close in, the parties have begun their campaigns in their own ways. According to reports, BJP has asked their MPs and MLAs to organise sponsored tours to Ayodhya’s Ram Temple.
As per reports the BJP has decided to sponsor a trip to Ayodhya for people from Gujarat’s 182 Vidhan Sabha and the 26 Lok Sabha constituencies.
As per the state BJP, the pilgrims will be taken to Ayodhya before the announcement of this year’s Lok Sabha elections.
BJP state chief CR Patil also announced that the karsevaks (volunteers) from Gujarat would be taken to Ayodhya by train.
A total of 7,000 people from the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha constituencies will reportedly be taken to Ayodhya, for which the members of parliament (MPs) and members of the legislative assembly (MLAs) have already been informed.
A list of visitors is currently being prepared.
As the state budget is set to be announced in February, many BJP MLAs have planned to reach Ayodhya with their supporters by the end of this month itself.
