Gujarat ATS nabs Rohit Godara–Naveen Boxer gang shooter wanted in Haryana murder case

The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), in coordination with the Kutch (Gandhidham) Special Operations Group (SOG) and the Local Crime Branch (LCB), has arrested a key shooter linked to the Rohit Godara–Naveen Boxer gang, who was wanted in a murder case registered in Haryana.
The arrested accused has been identified as Vikas alias Golu Jasbirsingh Sheoran, a native of Kakaroli village in Haryana. He was apprehended from an RO plant company located at Nageshwar Park in Rapar town of Kutch district, where he had been hiding with acquaintances.
According to the ATS, Deputy Superintendent of Police Harsh Upadhyaya received specific intelligence that Sheoran, an associate of the Rohit Godara–Naveen Boxer organised crime syndicate, was taking shelter in Rapar. The information was verified on the instructions of senior ATS officials by Police Inspector J N Chavda, following which the details were shared with the Kutch police.
A joint team of Gujarat ATS, Kutch (Gandhidham) SOG and LCB, conducted a raid and detained Sheoran along with Dinkesh alias Kali, son of Parmanand Garg, a resident of Haryana who had allegedly provided shelter to him after the crime.
During preliminary interrogation, ATS officers learnt that on September 4, 2025, Sheoran had met Ajay and Rohit at the court premises in Bhiwani, Haryana, as part of a pre-planned conspiracy. The trio allegedly shot dead Lovejit in Rohtak district, using a pistol supplied by Rohit Godara. The murder was the outcome of a long-standing rivalry between two gangs, police said.
A case of murder in connection with the incident was registered at Bhiwani Police Line police station. The accused had been on the run since the killing. Investigators also revealed that Dinkesh alias Kali, who was acquainted with Naveen Boxer, had arranged shelter for Sheoran in Rapar on the instructions of gang members.
Following their arrest, the confessional statements of Sheoran and Dinkesh were recorded and shared with the Haryana Special Task Force (STF). Both accused have since been handed over to the Haryana STF for further legal proceedings.
