GSSSB latest update: 1,180 new posts added to Junior Clerk CCE, application deadline extended

The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has announced an increase in vacancies in the ongoing Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) recruitment process. With this decision, more aspirants will now get an opportunity to secure positions in state government service.

As per the latest revision, 1,180 additional posts have been added to the existing CCE recruitment. Earlier, 5,370 vacancies were announced, but with the new increase, the total number of posts has now gone up to 6,550. The move has generated renewed enthusiasm among candidates preparing for the competitive examination.

Application deadline extended

The notification for the Gujarat Subordinate Service Class-3 (Group A and Group B) Combined Competitive Examination was originally released on 03/02/2026, announcing 5,370 vacancies across various government departments. Following updated requisitions from departments, 1,180 more posts have now been included, taking the total to 6,550.

In addition, the last date for submitting application forms, which was earlier set as 20/02, has been extended to 03/03. All other terms and conditions of the recruitment process remain unchanged; only the number of vacancies and the application deadline have been revised.
