Grandson of alleged bootlegger threatens students, vandalises car outside GLS College in Ahmedabad

A video showing alleged vandalism of a car parked outside GLS College in Ahmedabad has surfaced, prompting police to launch an investigation. The incident reportedly took place in the Navrangpura area, where the college is located.
According to preliminary information from the police, a youth named Aditya has been accused of damaging the vehicle using a weapon while it was parked outside the college premises. The youth allegedly threatened students and the act of vandalism was captured on nearby CCTV cameras, and the footage has since been circulated on social media.
Sources claimed that the accused is the grandson of bootlegger Kishor Langda, though police officials have not officially confirmed this link.
The youth who is facing the allegation that he had been earlier been involved in a road accident in the Shahibaug area. In that incident, a moped rider had died after being hit by a vehicle, police sources said.
Officials of the Navrangpura Police Station stated that they have begun further investigation into the vandalism case on the basis of the CCTV footage and other evidence. Authorities are verifying the accused's identity and examining the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Further legal action will be taken based on the outcome of the investigation, police said.
