Heavy rainfall over the past few days has led to severe waterlogging at Gola Gamdi Junction on the Bodeli–Dabhoi main road in Chhotaudepur, disrupting vehicular movement and causing inconvenience to commuters.

The continuous flow of rainwater across the road made it difficult for motorists, particularly those driving two-wheelers and smaller vehicles, to pass safely. Many commuters chose to wait for the water level to recede, while others crossed the stretch cautiously, resulting in slow-moving traffic.

According to local residents, Golagamdi Junction frequently witnesses waterlogging during heavy rainfall, posing a safety risk to motorists and increasing the chances of road accidents.

Residents have urged the authorities to implement a permanent drainage solution to ensure the swift discharge of rainwater and prevent recurring disruptions during the monsoon.
