Godhra NEET paper scam: CBI raiders residence, offices of accused

The roots of the NEET paper leak scam that was busted in Godhra have now reached Vadodara. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today raided the residence and offices of the accused in the case.

Apart from the raids at the accused Tushar Bhatt and Parshuram Roy’s residence in Vadodara, their office — Roy Overseas near Sarabhai Compound in Vadodara was raided by the CBI today.

Parshuram Roy used to stay in Samsara Apartment at Chhani TP-13, whereas Tushar Bhatt used to stay in the Royal Wing Bungalow on Sama Savli Road of Vadodara.

On May 9, the team of additional district collectors and district education officer (DEO) busted a NEET exam cheating racket in Godhra, where the students were offered a solved question paper in advance in exchange for money.

The DEO filed a complaint at the Godhra Taluka police against Tushar Bhatt, a teacher at the Jai Jalaram School in Godhra, Parshuram Roy, the owner of Roy Overseas.
